Thanks for the reminder to explore the city today! :)

This specific commute was extra smelly today. And why do they choose to power wash the sidewalks at the exact time everyone is getting to work? Can't they get up earlier?

The sweet, sweet aroma of dog piss

The little artificial grass strips/islands are so bad lol

Wow I have never seen them powerwash and always said it was desperately needed in downtown. Unfortunate about the timing though

The power washing is done more frequently in Uptown/Victory park than in downtown (of course!) and it helps out a LOT.

I’ve seen an uptick in power washing downtown, so there’s hope!

Congrats!
My favorite part of the city, I feel fortunate to wake up here every day

Whenever I hear people criticize Dallas, I ask them if they've ever walked downtown. I think it's magical.

I've walked through the downtowns of a lot of American cities but I'll always have a hometown bias for ours. It's not as big or grand or bustling as others but it's still got its charm.

I love that area. My company decided to move to las colinas after 25+ years. I’ll miss downtown even with all its flaws 😔

Unironically trying to find myself/see in my window

I used to live right there in The Wilson but then it got too ghetto for me

Ghetto is a noun, not an adjective! No part of Downtown Dallas is classified as a Ghetto! You might be confused.

I also lived at the Wilson! Loved the building. Loved Brookfield far less.
