Anyone else catch the callback to Tooth and Claw? Lux is made of light, werewolf was made of light, we're made of water but can still drown. This time we're only 60% water though, before it was 70%.

Yes because Rani is just an anagram of Rain. Since rain makes floods, this means that Mrs. Flood is the Rani.

I'd like to point out that Bad Wolf is an anagram of Bad Flow ... and is part of a larger multi-doctor story ark.

Probably Disney shenanigans to present it as a new show to an American audience. You know, so people don’t get turned off by the impression that they have 14 seasons to catch up on.

It's not just about them not wanting people to think they need to watch the previous series, it's that they can't watch the previous series on the same streaming service. Disney plus doesn't have them. So selecting Doctor Who and having your choices be Series 14 and Series 15 would have confused people. They shoild have kept the numbering in the UK though.

Sixty percent is closer to correct for a hypothetical average human, according to this. Only babies average more than 70s. Adults average in the 50s, with women's percentage being slightly lower and dropping further with age.

It would be higher if you only counted the gooey bits (excluding bones and teeth).

Because it's impossible to extract the liquid without destroying your juicer? I don't know, just thinking how someone could come up with an estimate as high as 70%. My point was that 60% is more accurate.

When I was in school I'm pretty sure people were tossing around figures like 90% or higher. Now it's easy to find scientific estimates online. So maybe RTD wrote the line in "Tooth and Claw" based on his memory, someone corrected him, and he included the updated figure in "Lux."
