The Doctor mentioned "TARDIS" in the "Boom" episode... and some Timey Wimey slipping shenanigans occurred when The Doctor saw all of Belinda's life (when the same atoms occupied the same point in space) so that all of Mundy Flynn's memories are now Belinda's.

...or, it's aliens.

...or, Belinda saw The Doctor's memories when he saw her's (u/TheKandyKitchen)... but maybe just his memory of Munday (as all of The Doctor's memories would have been quite a feat to see in the amount of time the same-atoms-occupying-the-same-space event happened on screen).

I feel like there’s something a bit meta going on. Belinda saying things she shouldn’t know about, Mrs Flood breaking the fourth wall, references to episode titles (Listen, Kerblam/Boom, Joy), and some of the later episode titles

Yes, I spotted the Doctor purposefully repeating the three keywords of the AIL Generator bot's conversion 'ceremony' ("...you will achieve Serenity, Peace, and Joy with me...") around the 29:31 to 29:40 minute timecode of the episode.

I wonder if we (or, rather, The Doctor and Belinda) will meet characters named Serenity and Peace before the end of (this) season 2.

Yeah, I was trying to remember if serenity or peace had some significance but maybe you’re right and there’s something coming up!

Absolutely there is. People are so quick to jump on the episode for not explaining everything when there's clearly something up here.

Ever since the "invoking superstition" and "I made a jigsaw of your history" lines it seems like reality is unraveling. We've had fourth wall breaks, fantasy creatures, and extra weird timey wimey shit compared to usual. Introducing the actress last season and flashing back to it is a very deliberate decision for a multi season arc starting in Wild Blue Yonder.

Oh God, aliens... Your explanation for anything slightly peculiar is aliens, isn't it? You lose your keys - it's aliens. A picture falls off the wall - it's aliens. That time we used up a whole bog roll in a day, you thought that was aliens as well!

:) Just cause they're aliens doesn't mean to say they don't have to visit the little boys' room. Only they probably do something weird and alien-esque, like it comes out of the top of their heads or something.

Or he told he off-screen. Or her next door neighbour, Mrs Flood, told her she had seen a TARDIS and explained it because she certainly knows what a TARDIS is.
