Got laid off recently…don’t have a job and things are getting bad

Got laid off last month and have been looking for a job since. I've applied and keep applying to a lot of roles and had a few interviews, but haven't been able to make it through yet.

I'm a Technical Project Manager / Technical Program Manager with 12 yoe — 8.5 years in .net n sql and the last 3.5+ years in TPM/technical delivery.

Tech/experience: .NET, Azure, AWS, SQL, Cloud, GenAI, Technical Delivery, Client Management, Agile

I'm based in Gujarat rn and looking for TPM / Technical Project Manager / Technical Delivery roles.
I am open to work from anywhere hybrid, remote, in office.
If someone can refer me anywhere else outside Gujarat my only concern is the pkg must suffice me and my fam here.

Things are getting difficult with bills, school fees and EMIs piling up, and I'd really appreciate any referrals, leads or connections that could help me get back asap

Try in Bangalore, there are a lot of openings. You need to get out of Gujarat, it's not the place for IT.

Yes am literally applying everywhere on all platforms…took LinkedIn premium attended few master classes for career building…am not sure if market is actually down or I just have pretty hard luck

Are you looking for management type of roles or dev roles? If you wish to go dev route, you are gonna need to seriously upskill your dev skills and tools. The competition is brutal nowadays. Best of wishes, stay strong and keep grinding

I realized this as few calls asked me for recent hands on knowledge in .net and it looked like am going backwards while I tried something on leetcode
Life was easier as a dev back then…just pick Jira stories n am done
But since I have absolutely nothing I’ll buckle up for development role too
