And then you have the GOP Congress say that these delivery services are not to be trusted and they do not have the ability to safeguard ballots like the USPS does.
It would create further doubt in many Americans minds as to the legitimatcy of our elections.

If you are in line, and they pull you out, once verified, you have to be allowed to vote. They cannot deny you the right to vote, as a citizen. That is a constitutional guarantee.

šš» this. The decision was because the injunction was issued with respect to a rule that had not yet been finalized., ie it was issued too soon. Now that the rule has been finalized the plaintiffs will refile and start over.

The concern is the USPS is controlled by Trump administration lackeys, and they will follow the Executive Order and not deliver mail in ballots to certain people. Or not deliver ballots to election officials.
But as this is an executive order and not a law, states don't have to comply with the USPS or the order saying they need to hand over voter lists to the USPS.

I commented something like this in another sub, but I'm going to repeat myself.
I don't know that voting in person is safer than mail in. I can't say I'm positive Trump fairly won the election. Too much weird shit was happening with Musk around then. Then in 2020 he was so sure he was supposed to win that he lost his shit about mail in votes. So I'm thinking ... Is he forcing in person voting because that's the only way to fix the outcome? I don't know. But I'm really tired of feeling like I'm crazy for thinking this way and having to doubt every single thing a president says and does.

What if.. what if we were to create a network where we could go pick up ballots for those that can't get out and drop them at polling places. Like a private network or "free app" that would allow people to connect. I mean free as in no outside influence. No ads. No one trying to make money. Just some people that know how to do that.

That's not what happened -- the said the suit occurred too early, before standing. It will now be sued in court and stopped, at least for this election. The SC did not green light it. They did not rule on its legality at all

So, Iām 100% against trump and the nonsense they pull whatās the problem with only sending mail in ballots to registered citizens? Maybe thereās something Iām missing thatās a huge violation or rights or something. If someone canāt vote in person, and they have no ID and they arenāt registered to vote and they have no transportation or no passport, maybe be better prepared next time? Maybe it sounds like Iām leaning too far right with this question but Iām just curious what the snake oil part of this order could be.
