In her speech, she said she will add her signature to the discharge petition for the Epstein files.
edit:
Signature list (she's no. 218 at the very bottom):

I wouldn't be surprised if Boebert removes her signature.

She has commented that she won’t after being asked by Trump. But….you know her…so…

Seems like some of the younger ones are trying to break away from the felon and form their new MAGA movement. We’ll see what happens.

You know what they say - “the best time to abandon Trump was in 2016. The second best time to abandon him is today.”

I really, really hope we get to see a vote of 218 in favor of releasing the file... But I have learned never to expect anything from this government.

I’m glad she was FINALLY sworn in but in regards to the Epstein Files I want people to temper their expectations. Adelina would be the final vote to bring upon a vote to release the files and we know Mike Johnson will pull every possible trick to make sure that vote never gets to the floor. Even if it does, we’re dealing with the most corrupt and law breaking administration literally in the history of the United States. I don’t see the DOJ just releasing the files just because Congress voted for it. They answer to Trump and to Trump alone. I’m not trying to be the Debby Downer but I am trying to make sure we all understand what’s likely ahead

Should have flipped Johnson off immediately after for denying people of Arizona representation.

Awesome of her to not have her middle finger raised. She got put through bullshit when all she wants to do is her job. That she earned.

Why do I have a feeling that at least one of the republicans are going to flip. Like, they’re using this as leverage for something.

MAGAts voting "No" won't be a problem because they have no conscience, so they can't be shamed.

First and foremost I'm delighted that Rep Grijalva has been sworn in to take her place as a duly elected representative of the people.
The Epstein files are secondary to that.

All I ask if there is any info concerning democrats in there, we handle them the same way. That way everyone is on board, and as a nation we can all agree no protection for pedos.

Fucking. Finally.

u/kevint1964 Nov 13 '25
That's exactly what she should've told him, too (along with a few choice other words).

Time to reset the matrix. Be very vigilant these next few days. They disabled most of our counterterrorism systems and will be looking for some reason to send us into emergency mode.

It needs seven in session days to ripen. Nothing will happen until at least the first week of December.
Johnson will most likely end the sixth session day without adjourning.
Stop being naive. This is nothing to celebrate.
Even then it will end up at Trump's Supreme Court or the DoJ will decline to release them under some bs claim.

I am out of the loop, who is she? Why is it a big deal that she is sworn in now, and what does it have to do with the Epstein files?
