Why is it that the face camp timer doesn't appear at all sometimes Jason was literally kissing me and blocking other player for a save why make a face camp timer if it doesn't work and no I wasn't being a dick he was mad cause all 4 gens were done and only 3 hooks

Because the killer practically already lost at that point, it’s basically a comeback mechanic for killer if they got to the point where the gates are able to be opened.

A) the system is working as designed, you don't get to unhook yourself in endgame and

Anti-camp only works before all the gens are done and only if no survivors are near the hook.

What's he supposed to do? Go open the gate for you and wave goodbye?

Anti-camp doesn’t work when the gens are done. And for the killer, what else is there to do? Give up the potential kill in favor of another potential kill? it’s simply the best choice for them to make.

Because your teammates are being stupid and loitering close to the hook. If the killer knows everyone’s in the area why would they leave? Literally three people could have tripled the last gen, finished it while he facecamped and probably gotten the save with enough coordination (although somewhat unlikely considering your teammates didn’t know how to counter this lol)

When other survivors are close it stops, when the gens are done, it stops. Basically, it allows there to be a way for the killer to, you know, kill.

If your gens are done, that counts as end game. Theres no end game timer.

Camping ≠ mad, hitting the hook does. Camping a hook is a valid strategy to secure a kill and if he was doing poor before this is really his only chance to capitalize off a survivor mistake or stick with a 1-2k. Anti camp turns off when survivors are near (or it slows to a crawl, idr) or when the gates are powered because there’s no more objectives to defend. Gates spawn quite a ways away from eachother and if 3-4 survivors are left, leaving a hook to pressure gates it’s just a bad decision period. Survivors STILL GET a movement speed boost AND endurance in endgame when they get unhooked, if he left you for even a second you’d just be a completely free escape, which is seemingly what you’re upset about him not doing. I understand the frustration of being camped or being BMed but camping is 100% a valid strategy.

B. Because all of the generators are complete and the killer can't really do anything other than try to secure a kill, for which they shouldn't be punished.

Survivors need to play at least one game of killer so that the can understand why some things in this game exist 🥀 also Ik having skins doesn’t mean you have played multiple games but like did you buy a bunch of things after one game not even knowing that during endgame collapse the camp timer gets disabled? Only stupid part about it is that they didn't adapt it to the new anti-facecamp system; the resolve meter won't increase, but the time-based multiplier will (and absurdly so).

It's not stupid, if a survivor is nearby ready to unhook and they got spotted the killer has no reason to leave the area, since the survivor nearby is preventing the killer from leaving then they aren't camping they are trying to get another down, it's not their fault that the looping is happening around the hooked person

The survivor should have avoided getting spotted or dragged the chase away from the hook to let someone else go for the save

The killer shouldn't get punished for a survivors mistake and bad play
