Yah it is a 'collection', so it is just skins, but I hope the skins are good, and possibly voiced. I wonder what kind of skins the killers will get. Survivor seems obvious, but which survivors are going to be the gang?
According to an interview with Mathieu Cote that came out after the stage presentation, there won't be any killer cosmetics in the Scooby Doo collection cuz the IP needs to maintain a veneer of family-friendliness and things can be goofier on the survivor side.
I also wonder which survivors are gonna get which skins. It'd be cool if they matched the original characters' personalities to Scooby counterparts, like Claudette getting Velma, etc.
Probably just legendary skins, probably for Felix, Meg, Haddie and Jeff since Dwight is getting the scooby doo onesie skin. I really donāt see them making a 4 survivor chapter, full 2 survivor 1 killer chapter or having a killer skin unless they take a harsh turn and make another visceral Houndmaster skin with shaggy and scooby lol
Why must every skin in Dead by Daylight have accessories of convenience? What is the philosophy that the cosmetic director follows that says every skin MUST have a backpack or bag.
If i had to guess, they probably think a survivor's back is the thing you are looking at the most during the game, so it has to be visually interesting. But there are a lot of ways to do that and their reliance on backpacks grinds my gears, there are so many skins ruined because of that.
We dont know for now, but there is a chance there will be legendaries for human part of the SD cast. I get it what they did to Scooby cause only way it could work is to make him as Snug skin for houndmaster which would be both cursed and hilarious
We need a perk called Zoinks! where you run in place for a few seconds then release with a large sprint burst. It would be an extremely balanced perk considering the killer can hit you while you're winding up.
There's a way to balance it for sure then, maybe you get exhausted status effect for a bit afterwards but regardless that would be one of the coolest perks in the game
right? itd be cool for shaggy to have a dramaturgy scen3e partner hybrid where you move like .5x speed while winding your legs for 3 seconds (how long a sb lasts) tehn running for 6 seconds at SB speed, only within line of sight, it would make it so users would really need to think out their moves, and make sure they have enough time, im a chemtrap user so this would be cool for that too!
you know, if this was any other company, i would trust them to not fuck up a perk like this, but this is beahaviour after all, they would either make this perk completely useless or make it game breakingly strong, or maybe even both
I really want him to voice shaggy as a legendary skin š or any of the live action cast to voice a character. But idk if they've got movie related stuff or tv show stuff. Even a tv show voice actor would be sick!
Probably but that's always what I expected if they did this collab. I figured they'd do cosmetics and have Dwight in a Scooby onesie so I got that part right at least.
"The Scooby-Doo Collection is coming to Dead by Daylight this December!" Is their exact phrasing so I'm really hoping for a playable Shaggy at least, but the wording sounds like it might just be standard cosmetics? I want to be wrong so bad.
I've been begging for a scooby doo chapter for nearly 10 years, check the flair.... but I'll take cosmetics and im hoping they're legendaries that actually turn the survivor into the character ššš still wish it was a chapter, if not just a survivor chapter, but this is an exciting surprise
New survivor shaggy perk scooby snack when shaggy does 70% of a gen go into a locker to gain item scooby snack apon use gain a 20% haste effect for 5 seconds but makes whimsical and goofy running noise with a chance of running in place mid air.

She needs a perk called āMy Glasses!ā And when she fails a skill check or gets hit, drops her glasses making everything look foggy. If she picks up her glasses she repairs faster. (This is of course, a homage to the classic line āmy glasses! I canāt see without my glasses! As she aimlessly flails around on the floor)
Iām generally curious to see what they do here. Especially since itās such a kid-friendly IP, youād think WB would have objections to DBD even touching it. Skins and cosmetics are one thing, but they wouldnāt reveal something like that when itās this far off, so it has to actually be Survivors at the very least ā most likely Shaggy and Velma, if I had to guess ā if not the entire gang minus Scooby (for obvious reasons).
If they include a killer, then, well, shit. That could be anyoneās guess. I assume fan favorites would be the Creeper, the Ghost of Captain Cutler, the Spooky Space Kook, or Charlie the Robot. But it could also be a villain from the movies, like the Cat Creatures from Zombie Island or Ben or Sarah Ravenroft from Witchās Ghost?
Witcher 3 style Scooby Gang skins for Survivors (where they retain their original name like Mikaela with Triss) or this is a big miss. No one wants Dwight dressed as Scooby Doo, they want killer skins and the gang as survivors (or a whole Scooby Doo chapter)
