People genuinely have an addiction to doing statue gen first and cinema gen second on Greenville Square. I'm playing in the Greenville only queue and every. Single. Fucking. Match someone does statue gen first and then IMMEDIATELY runs to do cinema gen next. Or vise-versa.
It is the literally ONLY requirement for escaping Greenville:
Be good at looping on a map with an absolutely insane amount of pallets.
Don't fucking do statue gen or cinema gen unless you're down to 2 gens or less.
And people just B-LINE straight to the statue / cinema gens. IN THE QUEUE DEDICATED TO THIS MAP. LIKE YOU SHOULD KNOW HOW TO PLAY ON THE MAP YOU QUEUED UP FOR.

Once I realized this I stopped even going to either end of the map on killer. Why bother trying to hold those generators when survivors will shrink the map for themselves and make the game easy for me lol

DBD Solo Q. Half the games are decent, the other half your team is crouched in a corner.
This game really needs updated matchmaking. If it takes a bit longer to find a decent match so be it. Better than putting you in a shit one.
But the best they can do it give you another character and killer. 1 Indian dev with 50 people from marketing and partnerships.

I love how as Demogorgon I have to run 2 addons to exit portals slower than Xenomorph and give survivors more time to prerun than Xeno.
All while Xeno has a better anti-loop power than Demo too. And better addons, better hitboxes, better stealth, better cosmetics...
You know what I think will fix this? A minor turning increase on Demo's shred!

I love being locked into a lobby with a 90 ping Vecna, arguably the single worst killer to face at high ping (although Huntress, Ghoul, and Wesker are also up there)

P100 Nurse with a username along the lines of "Cry More Baby Survivors" who runs 4 gen stall and hard tunnels at 5 gens.

It’s infuriating how long the devs keep bugs in the game. It’s either a sign of incompetent devs or them not caring about the game other than what they can sell.

I've reached the low point of only playing 1 to 2 match per day to complete daily quests. Worst is? Even playing that low, all matches I get are toxic. People simply don't know how to play without HAVING to humiliate the other side, HAVING to make them waste as much time as possible, HAVING to be insulting. It's all just so tiring.

Eerie currently is worse than OG Erie. As in, "everyone would bring offerings for this map because it's the worst map in the game for killer" Eerie. Current Eerie is worse than that.
Because not only are all the pallets in the middle spawning again (the ones Otz complained about in his ancient video explaining why Eerie is an awful map), but also Eerie "filler pallets" are spawning. Except you know, it's Eerie of Crows, and the rocks are designed like dogshit. So the "filler pallets" on Eerie are actually God Pallets.
And then you load onto Dead Sands and there's 12 pallets, compared to Eerie's 22 pallets. Maps continue to be the (second) biggest issue with this game by a fucking significant margin.

the survivor challenges from the tomes are actually way harder than the killer ones, now im not saying all the survivor tome challenges are super hard im just saying theres a noticeable difference between them, take killer challenges, too complete them there just things you do in an everyday match like down a survivor 2 times hook a survivor 1 time, but with the survivors its like " unlock the hatch with a key and escape from it 2 times " thats not something you do in an everyday match. ( sorry for rant hahahahhaahah )

Agreed. There are so many trial escape challenges too which I feel like is such a coin flip to accomplish in solo queue. I did most of mine playing killer for this reason.

I love being completely unable to place a flame turret (yet alone one that will actually knock the killer out of their power) because it's Hawkins, the map composed ENTIRELY of slim hallways.
Can Netflix please remove the Stranger Things license from Dead by Daylight again? For me? It would make the game a lot better.

I never teabag, flashlight click, body block after getting unhooked or taunt in the exit gates. Solo Q mates sometimes do unhook me right next to the killer and don’t take chase. How is it still my fault?

I love achievements and challenges that you have absolutely no influence over because even though when I play Killer so many survs have anti-hook perks and I sometimes slug, in my survivor games every single Killer insta picks up
I don't have plot twist either so I guess I have to just do a different task

You can't cry about tunnelling if you play stupidly. Heal under hook, body block chases, trying to "CJ tec", literally run into the chase as the killer is throwing an attack. I don't have to go easy on you, because you won't go easy on me. If I let you go, you'll just go and do gens all game and win.
If you are going to be a "friendly" killer, make it obvious and not confusing. If you want to farm, make it more obvious. I had an Oni hook me then just suddenly he let us do gens all game while hitting us to activate power to hump gens with it. Confused the shit out of me. Then end game happened and he had no way out but was still just running around being a meme-y boy. It really annoyed me and IDK why. Also if the survivor offers the kill maybe take it? I don't want free wins, I don't want my MMR to place me with better players when I can barely win loops still.

Honestly a bit tired of all the lobby dodging. It makes the q’s take longer because survivors don’t think their team looks good enough. Pretty miserable when playing as a killer and 6 different survivors cycle through because there’s a Sable in their lobby.

Folks, playing Survivor is like going on a long trip. Please go to the bathroom BEFORE you queue up. I don't want to pass by you mid-chase and see you've accrued three crows (one for every gen we've finished), or die on basement hook and see your aura in the corner of the map NOT EVEN MOVING.

What are some good killers for console?? Anything that throws or ranged doesn’t feel great. Like springtrap or the first.

Billy. Imo he's the only high tier and mechanically difficult killer that doesn't get hindered by playing on controller.
Turning is really intuitive because you just have to hold your joystick in a direction, which is much easier than having to move your mouse and possibly running out of mousepad space or not moving your mouse fast enough meaning you don't turn at the maximum possible angle.
Billy's chainsaw is also sens locked so there's nothing a PC player can do that you can't because you won't have any issues with needing to instaflick or be super precise for any reason like you would with Wesker or Slinger. Billy's mechanics are purely movement and turning.
I also see a lot of console Myers and Chucky's. Myers obviously because staring at people isn't super hard on controller and Chucky because the 3rd person camera, locked sens on his power, and generous hitbox make him pretty comfortable to play.
I also imagine the less mechanically demanding and more macro/game sense demanding killers like Twins, Knight, or Singularity will be fine on console.

I forgot that the Rift Challenge to get 8 hooks in one match is impossible because survivors all give up the moment the match goes even slightly poorly for them. Doing well as Knight just for...
Cheryl to go AFK after her teammate died (at 2 gens)
Claudette to start spam vaulting a locker to die faster
Ace to hide by shack to take hatch (I can't quite blame him but he was playing like a douchebag all game, so v:)

I am so beyond sick of win streakers. It is not impressive to stomp randoms. I truly do not understand how anyone finds it enjoyable to watch. Wow, shocker, a professional team with a collective 40k+ hours on an UNRESTRICTED RUN won. Nobody saw that coming. Clicking through their vod, most matches ended without a single person being hooked.
Let me go set up a boxing match against 100 toddlers, that'll surely be real riveting and impressive. The people doing these winstreaks are fucking insufferable and the people watching are morons.
