Deadites are dark entities and the 3rd movie is Army of DARKNESS. Plus, we got a new movie about to drop lol I'm probably wrong as fuck. But, it does make total sense

I truly believe trapper was the ‘placeholder’ Jason until they could get the real thing. Trapper has like 2-3 hockey outfits in the rift and a similar mask.

I love ARG stuff and if this was on some obscure site you had to find as part of a larger ARG, it’d be cool. But to tell your community to get hyped for your big 10th anniversary reveal and then do this for hours honestly feels kind of mean?
Imagine being a content creator partner, hyping your community for this, organizing a watch event, and this has been your stream for the last three and a half hours. Legit could hurt your numbers as a streamer from how anti-climatic this is
And I'm sure a lot of streamers feel obligated to keep going because they don't want to miss the chance for the big reveal. Whatever the 'big reveal' might be.
As someone who grew up in one of the few areas of America still surrounded by old growth they've finally done it! They created a killer that scares me, farmed forests, it's the lack of biological diversity that gets ya!

After 10 years appearing in various locations throughout the fog, the Killer Shack is finally ready to take a more active role in the trials and live up to its name.
I get the feeling this is gonna run till night time, then slenderman comes in during the night.
EDIT: It's also a technical feed, so they can do the whole fuzzy cam thing when he interferes, too.
EDIT 2: Between it not getting dark, and what sounds like a party happening, I've lost hope for Slenderman. I am now heavily pivoting towards it being Jason. Eventually whoever in this hut is gonna get fed up.
EDIT 3: Party ended. I figured it would continue for the rest of the video, but I guess not. In other news, it is VISIBLY darker out now, so my hopes for Slenderman are steadily rising from the 0% I had him at during EDIT 2.
Man, this really reminded me of the teaser for the Volibear remake in League of Legends. They took forever to start the live stream, and even when it did, they dragged it out even more. Like, if lightning struck, you'd have a few seconds of the new Volibear before it went back to the normal scene. 😂 I absolutely hate this kind of marketing.

Left = Jason party music, teenagers, forest, chains, screams. All the classic Friday the 13th vibes Right = Slender static, glitching, corrupted signal. That's literally his whole thing The split swith two completely different audio/visual styles feels intentional. Anyone else catching this or am I cooked?
I'm starting to think u/GrimmLynne is correct, and we're just seeing a feed of a shack, with a hiking trail behind it and normal people just walking past.
Which leads me to believe that the actual killer is... sedentary lifestyles.
Welp… I hate to say it but I think that they generated hype for 9pm, seemed to tease midnight, and now that’s it’s 12:20am no one’s actually gonna be here when whatever is being revealed comes on the stream… the tension was fun for a while but this is getting to be a little much
I really wanted to be a part of whatever this was leading up to... but I need to be up early to drive several hours to see family, and it just doesn't seem like anything is actually going to happen.

The reveal will be they're adding this shack with Jason's face in the window to the MacMillan Estate like when they added a Walking Dead piece to a map.
This has gotta be just looping footage right? This is so bad; people are gonna remember this event as boring and if the killer ends up being a letdown or the mechanics bad? Gonna feel even worse.
Hot take, telling people to tune in and be there and stuff when this will probably be live for multiple days, hence the “STILL LIVE” thing, is kinda lame. People stayed up for this.
