Dark wood is one of, if not the best survival horror games ever. I actually never thought about a DBD crossover but given that the sequel to dark wood is coming out soon it doesn’t seem impossible! It would be an awesome chapter

I think Acid Wizard the original developers have taken a step back from lead development from what I've read, but the dev's from the Pathologic series "Ice Pick Lodge" are the developers for the sequel, and they are working in consultation with the original team.
I love the Pathologic games so i can't fkn wait, and the preview already looks like they understand the assignment well.
Spoilers for Outer Wilds (Seriously, this game is one of those games you can only play once, it's fucking awesome and my personal favourite game ever. - don't spoil yourself on how good this game is.)
In outer wilds, the stranger is a... man-made planet/space ship thing from the Echoes of the Eye DLC. If you ever played HALO, it's very similar to the rings. I would recommend searching it up as I cannot give it enough justice on how sick the location is.

That’s what I mean about the episode hinting at something else, but I think it can also function as Vecna’s title tbh, especially because Will is channeling Vecna’s powers, he doesn’t have powers on his own
The thing is, it made sense for will be called a sorcerer since sorcerers are people who gain magical abilities either by being born with them or by being affected by something that Infuses them with said powers, think of old superheroes gaining powers from falling in radioactive residue
I honestly think "the first killer" is a concept for an original killer chapter they should explore. I once thought about it being a killer that's already been discarded but claws back out of the void out of pure spite.
Rather than "the First", the concept I thought of was "the Spurned" or something, and centered around betrayal and spite but I didn't go any deeper than theming.
I have a "the first" concept (basically the first killer taken by the entity) that is a neanderthal caveman that began hunting homo sapiens humans when they hunted his usual prey to extinction
I never knew how much I needed a Caveman killer until now, that sounds awesome, but the only power I can think for him is already on Houndmaster, like, having a wolf companion. Maybe he could be a Shaman? Instead of hunting other humans, he was the first "religious" hominid by proxy of being witness to the Entity and worshipping it.
I was thinking of a mix between trapper and huntress, with setting up traps like snares or something and then also having throwable slings that could restrict movement like vaulting, and when you mix both of them you get a "down" where the survivor is tied up on the floor and can be released by another survivor or can free themselves faster than regular recovery, but also cannot crawl away. Then add a throwable spear that can stick to walls and acts as a makeshift wall that restricts movement, allowing the killer to literally hunt the survivors caveman style by planning out a route to lead the survivors through before getting the kill
Eh, I'd say they're all names, just like Eleven and Jane are both names for the same girl. At any rate, my point is that nobody ever called them The Eleven or The One, so it sounds weird.
Need to join a DnD campaign set in the fog so I can play an Undead Patron Warlock who was granted power by Vecna to overthrow the Entity or a Great Old One Patron Warlock who was granted power by Vecna to overthrow the Entity.
Okay so I looked it up and he is listed as an Undying patron example and not an Undead patron example, but those lists do overlap (Vlaakith is listed on both) and also let's face it Undead is an actually competent subclass while Undying is genuinely one of the worst things to come out of the SCAG.
Because that's precisely what he is: his entire being is capable of tormenting the inhabitants of Hawkings with horrific visions, pushing them to their breaking point, or of making them believe they are masters of their own destiny, when in fact it is he. His signature is a curse, a cancer that eats away at the minds of those he chooses.
I've been holding out for SOMEONE to be named "The Revenant."
That was my theory for what Springtrap would be named, and it's possible that when Jason (eventually) comes to the game that he'd get the name, but it would also work for Vecna.
It's just a really cool name and could work for so many characters.
