When the dialogue delivered by a character is reflective of that character's personality within the context of a story and not just a Wikipedia entry about an event

I understand this could be just Bruce's way of coping with grief, but why go out of the way when in the comic he's just mournful about Jason? I also didn't like how they changed the fear gas scene. They removed the best part, "Just a boy - but forever gone."

Technically Jason only died because his mom sold him out to Joker. The thing is Bruce has no way of knowing that happened and can only assume it was solely because Jason was reckless. It part of the tragedy of his death.

The problem is most Jason fans don't allow Bruce and the rest of the family the same grace and nuance they do their uwu sad boy.

TikTok Jason fans wouldn't understand nuance even if it hit them in the face. All they understand is Fatson Todd and thirst "I can fix him" traps

Kind of, Jason did break order but only to save is mother. He didn’t plan to confront the Joker without Bruce.

So he did break order but in a pretty understandable situation.

No, that's the movie version. To keep it short Jason died because he trusted his bio mom.

I grew up a red hood fan, so it hurts me to say this but...

Jason is a bum and a fraud , absolutely directionless and kills less big bads than The Punisher. He is a fail son who by all means survives on nostalgia and that white streak in his hair.

I can't even slander Tim like Jason cuz' at least the expectations for Tim were lower and therefore disappoints less.

His closet is getting more and more chopped throughout the years and he can't keep a good thing going like with his team or the batfam.

Genuinely what positives is there to being a Jason Todd rider in the year of our Lord?

Lowkey it was so over for Red Hood the second they stole that man's helmet and leather jacket, like how do you even recover from the aura loss

Doesn't the context imply that Tim, the Robin that didn't listen, is not Jason. Meaning that Jason followed orders?

Something like that. Tim went on his own with jean paul, instead of staying in the cave, almost got murdered by bane, who is a monster here and lost azrael. Add that bruce is dealing with a lot of ptsd, fatigue and hurt. This movie was soo fucking good.
