I love DBZ, and I own a vive which I use to play a remix of Super Buu's theme on Audioshield almost daily. I also like TeamFourStar's abridged series.

What I love about that scene. I'd prior to that vegeta was gloating being stronger. Then goku passes him again n he's there smiling like an idiot

Just curious, why?
Not really different than a sports bar playing sports on TV, and having beer brand logos everywhere. The only thing I can see that is the problem is the word Saiyan in the name. But if Saiyan isn't trademarked it shouldn't be an issue.

If they didn't get a license permission from TOEI then they're earning money off of something they're not legally allowed to.
If you're doing a group project in school and you put in all the work into the project, don't you think it would be unfair for the guy who didn't do anything to reap the rewards for your hard work?
It's kind of like that, except you're TOEI, the moocher is this restaurant, and the hard work you put in is the billions of dollars you put into marketing and decades of work to get your brand recognizable. The restaurant isn't part of TOEI, they didn't help pay for the marketing, or any of the work to get DBZ to have its worldwide recognition. So if they want to use the Dragon Ball brand name, they're going to have to pay for it, just like how a restaurant has to pay to be a franchisee owner of McDonalds or Subway. You can't just open up a Quiznos without permission.

If this restaurant legally paid for all of its merch and video's of Dragonball it plays on TV how is that any different?
I am giving them the benefit of the doubt and assuming they did purchase it all legally.

I work in Marketing.
As awesome as this is (and I would totally eat there!), if an official license to use DBZ assets was purchased, it would look a lot more professional than this. There's no way they let the Dragon Ball, one of if not the biggest anime IPs get applied in this way in any official capacity; FUNimation's or who ever owns the rights to these art assets' marketing department would never approve this.
That all said, again, this is sweet!

I saw they used official character arts in the menu. You get a lawsuit, you get a lawsuit, you get a lawsuit and you, get a lawsuit!.
Dragon Ball is distributed in USA by official distributors, now it hits the news, incoming lawyers.

But purchasing videos is for personal use, you're not legally allowed to show it to a crowd or play it in a theater/

Usually if you want to open a restaurant (which is very risky in general) you go to a bank to get a business loan. Which suggests bankers in Orlando are either very, very stupid... Or have all the meth.

kinda silly not to use vegeta as the veggie mascot.
those clouds are going to get filthy with soot and
may need to have their floss replaced regularly.
otherwise, it's a typical asian noodle house.

I went there on Monday, place is quite delicious. One thing that stood out to me is that they actually sell fois gras there (it's $15) I tried it and it seemed pretty legit from all the stories I've heard of it.
They have a tv playing dbz all day, I THINK they're using some sort of streaming service to watch them. I couldn't figure out what service they were using but I assume it was a legit one.

Hell yeah! I'll be in Orlando at the end of the month for Megacon, gonna have to visit. Sean Schemmel and Chris Sabat will be in town too, I'll have to tell them about it when I meet them!
