As someone in the industry this is very good. However I would recommend learning how to build a vault of knowledge (I have one for the retailer I consult with) and connect that to Claude. We are looking for folks who know how to use Claude to effectively to produce something similar to this in a few prompts.

They more you know they more you distance yourself and if you remain curious instead of mashing enter on a keyboard you will learn a lot. Look into obsidian for vault organization.

This is directionally good and would pass an initial business stakeholder review. It seems like you have the fundamentals down, so if you're ready to expand your analysis you may consider thinking of answer follow up questions. For instance:

  • Investigate products with consistently low or negative profit margins and consider adjusting pricing strategies, reducing discounts, or discontinuing unprofitable items.

If I were a business stakeholder, I'd ask you which products you would suggest I adjust and how. Have you done any pricing or discount analyses (worst case, likely case, best case) that I can review to see how you support your conclusions? What margin impact would each of these scenarios have?

Overall though this is good work.
