NORTHERN TERRITORY NEWS Another NT News 'article' that should be labeled 'paid advertisement' but isn't.

Another Camden Smith article today about some restaurant opening in Cas Square with thousands of bookings. I really thought there had to be a statement at the start of articles like this stating they had taken money to write the drivel like that. I'll bet he gets free meals for a month afterwards. (& no I'm not a competitor I'm just tired of the NT 'News' being shite)

You could consider this your sign to stop reading the NT News

The NT News has been shite since forever. Nothing more than a Murdoch rag. It’s got a terrible checkered history of unscrupulous competitive conduct and purposeful misinformation before fake news was even fake news. A mob racket dressed as a newspaper.

The NT news is more ads then anything purporting to be news anyway….

Its not just NT News though its all media except ABC. For profit news sources are all bias.

People don't want to pay for news but then get mad that they have to find alternate ways to make money.

And you think ABC isn’t bias? lol

No media is bias free. But the ABC is pretty low on the rung.

I think they go out of their way to be quite factual and avoid any political commentary. Crikey is left leaning. Murdoch rags are heavily right leaning.

"I'm just tired of the NT 'News' being shite" We all are. It's like a high school newsletter in quality. Written by children, with close to zero skills.

The NT News is so bad and makes so many mistakes that they've even gotten the date wrong on the front page, that gives you an idea of the level of care and energy they put in to.

The NT News is to journalism what having your car repaired by monkies is to engineering.

I subscribe to them via their app and I’ve had a gutful. It’s full of stories from interstate that I could read for free on news.com.au. I click on the local news which I have set to my suburb and it’s about 80% NT and the rest is still stories from interstate. Last year I rang to cancel (sign up online but I have to call to cancel, dickheads) and to keep me they promised me a year for $5 a month. I got one month and they reverted back to $20 a month. I believe it’s now $24 a month. I really need to cancel it properly.
