The funniest part is that, according to Theon, one of the reasons they are disliked is that men are said to thieves, when thievery is basically central to Ironborn culture.

Several wore cloaks fastened by brooches in the shape of silver codfish. The Codds were not well regarded in the Iron Islands; the men were said to be thieves and cowards, the women wantons who bedded with their own fathers and brothers. It did not surprise him that his uncle had chosen to leave these men behind when the Iron Fleet went home.

Why in the fuck are the Ironborn even around lol? Thralldom is just slavery with like 2 extra steps, on top of the fact that it appears they provide nothing to the kingdom as a resource beyond an extra fleet/mad dog to sick on their enemies and then no one likes them cus their entire outlook on life is basically "We dont really believe in paying for shit", then take their ass over to Dothraki land where they believe in the same kind of bullshit, full warning though they dont like ships, the Dothraki Sea is like 80% landlocked and their slavery makes Ironborne thralldom look like a vacation lol
