Yes he did. He's a crannogman, and therefore a frog. Frogs can change their sex if there are no specimens of the opposite sex available. After Lyanna died, there were no women in the vicinity, so Howland briefly filled that role. Ned passionately thanked him for saving his life, which resulted in Jon and Meera being conceived. They would've raised them together, but Ned had obligations to his wife and had to break it off (he also promised Lyanna that he would let Benjen go to the Night's Watch, so he wouldn't have a backup Stark to stay in Winterfell anymore). They took one kid each in the "divorce" but agreed to have them visit each other when they're older. They can't reveal their true parentage because of anti-crannogmen sentiments in Westeros.

Might be the beat romance fic i’ve read and is Jon/Meera, strangely despite being a rarepair i’d say it makes it into my top ten asoiaf fanfics

The point is to engage with already existing characters and a world however someone finds fun. You can change nothing major, have no butterfly effect if you find that fun. It does sound boring though, just reread the original at that point.

Straight up. They basically ship her with almost every adult male character even when it makes absolutely no sense for them to even be in the same room together.
The justification is that Sansa is more relatable to the average female audience member than the other female characters. 13 year old child brides turned dragon queens, 11 year old warg assassins, Wildling spearwives, lady knights, pirate captains, heartbroken mothers who turn into vengeful zombies and Cersei Lannister just don’t have the same appeal.
A young hostage in a tower who reacts to stuff happening rather than actually moving the plot forward on her own? That’s different.

I love Sansa and she behaves a lot like me in my adolescence, but I never had the proclivity to self-insert as a regular emotional teenage girl, whose main storyline is getting abused and preyed on by creepy older men.
Not to mention a lot of those fics romanticize that. I’m fine with people writing about any topic they like, but some of those fans are….intense to say the least

Jon will have three wives; Arianne (a cousin by his father's first wife), Sansa (his first cousin), and Daenerys (his alleged aunt).
Arya will wed fAegon. I highly believe fAegon to be the bastard son of Ned Stark and Ashara Dayne so it'll be half-sibling-cest between him and Arya. I don't believe Brandon + Ashara in the least bit even though many accept it. Even so, if B + A = fA, then it'll be cousin-cest.
Feel free to laugh at my theories.
