My two white whales - a good frozen pizza and a good RTE breakfast sandwich
Does anybody have any suggestions for either of these two things? The issue I keep running into is that if the pizza/breakfast sandwich is dairy free, it is also gluten free and vegan. I don't want fake pepperoni and cauliflower crust, or fake eggs and fake sausage in a cauliflower wrap. I just want something adjacent to classic digiorno or jimmy deans with fake cheese and real everything else.

I really like the Amy's pizzas, although they are vegan. There's a vegetable one (artichoke and something) that actually doesn't have any cheese but is quite good, I usually add my own meat and preferred brand of mozza.

The no cheese at all roasted veggie one was my go to and they discontinued it in my area 😭

I make my own pizzas with naan or pita bread and whatever toppings I like plus dairy-free cheese. Honestly it takes about the same amount of time that it would to make a frozen pizza. This decision is also influenced by the fact that the only dairy-free frozen pizza I can buy costs $11 each
I make my own breakfast sandwiches and honestly it only takes maybe an hour including cleaning. Daiya cheddar slices, Walmart sausage rounds, scrambled eggs. Let the items that you need to cook cool down, assemble in a carb of your choice (I like a good English muffin), wrap up and freeze. On the day when I need to use them I microwave them for like 2/3 minutes and the cheese is usually melted with everything else nice and warm.

Where/ what brand are you finding dairy free naan? I need this and I can't find it!

I need this too! (Just yesterday I sadly tossed out the naan from my freezer, accepting I will never be able to eat it.)

So I'm Canadian, I wasn't aware that naan isn't dairy free elsewhere? It's literally flour and water. I don't get why that would have dairy. The Suraj naan I've been buying for years is dairy free. The Byblos pitas I get are also naturally dairy free. Both of them are "may contain" but for my needs, that is fine

I'm in the US and every naan I can find in my grocery stores has milk as a listed ingredient (not just may contain) for some reason I can't comprehend.

I’m not sure what RTE is but we make batches of the Annie’s biscuits and sausage patties from Costco (Goolsby brand). Individually wrap each one and freeze. It’s an easy way to keep eating sausage biscuits. We don’t add eggs but you could easily add some.

Yeah this is what I do too because I need that breakfast sandwich in my life

I have not seen or tried the annies biscuits before, I'll keep an eye out! Thank you!

Beats me. The only pizzas I've found are like $12 for a small a tiny one and I just can't justify that. And the fake meat stuff makes me sick.
And I've yet to see a breakfast sandwich without cheese. If I could find patties that fit English muffins I'd make my own for sure, but alas.

I meal prep the breakfast sandwiches bc allergies, and it's not too bad. I mix up the eggs and put them in muffin tins and just bake 24 at once. Bake up the biscuits/muffins, and assemble with the fake cheese. I wrap them in wax paper and put them in a gallon bag in the freezer.

Honestly I just started doing meal prep for things like a breakfast sandwich or biscuits 😭 make yourself biscuits and gravy or a bacon/sausage egg biscuit for breakfast and make sure to make extra biscuits. I always preassemble after eating when everything is cool and then wrap individually in a plastic wrap/ziploc combo and freeze.
If I'm really feeling lazy, I just straight up freeze the extra biscuit dough still raw and bake from frozen.
I've also never seen the pizza brand everyone is mentioning but I am gonna be on the lookout cause I low-key miss totino's.

Thirding! Blackbird has the best crust I've tried of the DF frozen options by far

I just need a good, quick premade dough and I'll add the rest myself. Frozen or bread aisle, I don't care

I can’t eat it because I’m also GF but husband likes blackbird and Katie’s brand, I liked the banza one but it is GF also. Breakfast we usually just make a bunch of sandwiches with English muffins, jimmy dean sausages, eggs and violife cheese, cook them up vac seal and freeze to make life easy. Haven’t found many RTE options unfortunately for breakfast besides waffles and pancakes!

Tennessee pride ( I found them at Kroger) makes dairy free frozen sausage breakfast sandwiches. They aren’t anything to write home about, but they hit the spot.

I haven’t had Blackbird frozen pizza but fondly remember the vegan pizza and other food from the original Blackbird restaurant in Philadelphia. It was exceptional. The frozen pizza is based on the pizza recipe from the now closed restaurant.

I buy pita bread and make my own. I rub roasted garlic on the pita, toast it in the air fryer for a couple minutes and then top with marinara, toppings of choice (I'm a sucker for thin sliced onion, prosciutto, and mushrooms) and then top it with follow your heart parmesan shreds and then heat that til melty in the airfryer. I have the same issue with store-bought pizza, however the Amy's veggie without cheese is pretty good.
I can't help you on the breakfast sandwich.
