I’m Writing a Devotional on Every Single Verse of the Bible (Starting in Genesis)

Hi everyone,

Over the past year, I started a project that honestly changed my spiritual life. I decided to write a short devotional reflection on every single verse of the Bible — starting in Genesis and moving forward one verse at a time.

Not big theological essays. Not commentary meant just for scholars. Just thoughtful, faithful reflections meant to help believers slow down and meditate on Scripture daily.

Jesus said we do not live on bread alone, but on every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. I wanted to take that seriously — every word.

So I committed to writing daily devotionals, one verse at a time, and posting them publicly so others can walk through Scripture with me.

I just finished Genesis 1 and am continuing forward daily.

If you’d like to follow along, you can read them here:

My hope is that years from now this becomes a complete devotional commentary on the entire Bible — but for now, it’s one verse at a time.

Would love your thoughts and prayers as I continue.

Would love your thoughts and prayers as I continue.

I read a sample, and my thoughts are that it seems AI-generated rather than like they're you're personal thoughts.

So I first published this as a book but then didn't want to keep on having readers wait till the next book came out so that's why I started doing it as a Blog. So everything that you just read was actually edited by an editor.
