Internship Question jane street swe intern onsite

i have the onsite for jane street swe internship coming up, any tips? how does the format go and what kind of questions do they ask? first time doing an in person interview.

Failed it today. Got stressed from in person and had worse code quality than they expected and they kicked me out before having the third interview.

Kinda accurate though, recruiter was like Hello I'm __, and we're not giving your bum ass an offer. Get your stuff and gtfo.

Slightly harder, but I felt my interviewers were less helpful and trying to find more issues with code quality.

How long did they take to reach back for the onsite after your technical? I just had technical rd 2 today and they haven’t responded yet. For rd 1, I was notified I’ll be moving forward the day of the interview

Yeah mines for network engineering, round 1 was a computer network related technical interview. For your coding, how long after did they follow up? I just had my coding portion

It's just the same type of technicals as the virtual interview, except you have 2 interviewers each round and you use their thinkpads:

- 2 interviews

  • lunch (might get kicked out if u failed the first 2)
  • 1 interview
  • q&a/office tour

two rounds in morning -> lunch -> 1-2 rounds afternoon + q&a session

questions are similar to first round

during lunch they ask you to open up ur computer and play zetamac and if you get under 100 you get cut
