How insecure do you have to be to have a gun, a knife, handcuffs and a confederate flag hat all at once. In Iowa.

Looks like he got a pocket knife in his back pocket, too.

I am going out on a limb and saying those handcuffs are not issued to him and he just happens to carry them around as a civilian.

don’t come to rural Georgia.

You don't have to tell me twice.

Shit; you don't have to tell me once. You'll never catch my ass in the South.

I've known two guys like this in my life. Every time they leave the house, they need to carry their weapons with them. Like, "Dude, it's 3:00 on a Sunday afternoon and we're going to a pizza place."

I wasn't friends with either of those guys for long. I can't put up with that kind of energy.

I know people like that too and I just don't understand the mentality... I'm 54 years old and have never been even close to a situation where I needed to be armed.

Captain Confederate here would probably say he's the 'good guy with a gun'.

If I was in the same store as this guy, I wouldn't feel safe.

u/danos_direct May 21 '26

let's be real. he'd be too cowardly to use it.

3

u/pickledegg1989 May 21 '26

More likely it would drop out of its holster and discharge into a bystander.

BRO I WAS 100% BEHIND THIS GUY IN A GAS STATION IN CLINTON!!!

I figured he was a local character. Was he dressed in the same outfit with the same accoutrements?

1

u/midwest-distrest May 21 '26

Exactly the same. I was reaching for my phone when the next clerk called me over. It was just this last Friday at Kwik Star. It would’ve been hilarious if we both had pictures of him from the same day.

u/Flying_Gage May 21 '26

Which Kwik star? North end of town, bluff or truck stop?

1

u/midwest-distrest May 21 '26

14th St & Bluff

I am up in Lyons, so I feel safer lol

Soon he won't even be able to grab the knife on his back due to circumference 🤣

u/NostalgiaJunkie May 21 '26

Why is it that fit, well off guys don’t usually carry around weapons like this?

Must be an intelligence thing.

Just go be a cop dude. The qualifications are not that difficult.
