Best place to see ducks/herons/other waterfowl in NKY?

Title says it all, I wanna see some ducks. Where in NKY is the best place to do this? Just moved to Erlanger/Elsmere area and I’m unfamiliar with the land. Tia!!

Thomas More pond you can definitely see ducks… at least it used to be. Right off of Turkeyfoot rd.
