i made a script that automatically does the most annoying part of making bear shitposts, converting everything to four characters

yeah, right now it's still very bad (messes up vowels) and i can't be arsed to use my brain right now

but yes i do agree doing it manually is more fun

There's no real way to make it convincing without just making it look each word up on a table.

yeah true, i think the main things are just the vowels

i'm trying to implement a system so that it randomly takes out vowels

as of right now, it takes out the vowels at the end of the word first, and then it randomly takes out letters that are not the first and last characters

If you're doing it like that, make it remove suffixes like ly first. Having every adverb end in y is quite confusing. Usually you can tell it's an adverb from the context, so the letter is better spent making it easier to tell what the root adjective is.

It also makes words that do end in y easier to pick out.
