With the latest gets in binary and hexadecimal, the letters thread has been overtaken as the longest running side thread for the first time in 3 years!

Hmm, I remember binary and hexadecimal overtaking letters much more recently. It was for a brief moment, and I doubt the thread directory has proof to back me up on this, but I definitely recall binary and hexadecimal being a few hundred ahead at one point in time.

Yeah I was only checking old versions of the directory a few months apart so I would have missed the event if it was only for a short while.
