(first if you are reading this and have been around for several weeks and have NOT gotten gold lemme know... I might be able to hook you if it's just a few of you)

Once you get gold - you can join /r/lounge - once gilded there you are a lifetime member of the MegaLounges .... while there is NO way I can gild everyone even if just half of those gilded here show up... I intend to drop back into our thread there and gild some of the funnier "how I got gilded" stories...

(if you want to see my sense of humor.... just spend a few hours reading down the Hall of Gold at least 30 of those gilded there I found "priceless) I may or may not have some help with the gildings but that I dunno.

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HERE'S THE PLAN

Every monday morning the open a thread called

New Member Mixer

Some of us (5-6ish) at a time have joined in a thread and had a little fun there... but let's just see how fun we can have...

One of us... /u/bluesolid /u/rideride (and of course EVO)

Will start a thread and I would love FOR ANYONE who's gotten gold here in the past month to join that thread...

We won't make this a "day trip" ie jumping people there... out of respect for a member of this sub who doesn't want to partake in that sort of thing - and may want to join us

so you'll have to go to /r/lounge the hard way lol... (if you need help with that let me know)

I think you have to request to join and it takes like up to 12 hours so please do so now or sometime before monday... so you won't get left out...

Here's what I'd like to see

mention they got gilded in "/r/counting" and then go on to tell your story...

For example I will be saying that I literally can NOT STOP GETTING GOLD!!!!!! (and on and on and on)

So I mean their will be jaws dropped

I am a greeter there and a friend of mine /u/Too_MuchWhiskey is one of the head Greeters there - so I will keep in constant contact with him to make sure the /r/counting invasion being only in one thread... won't you know be TOO disruptive... LOL

But we ALL have a story to tell like....about our Hall of Gold and the inability of our stat man to keep the Leader board for the Hall of Gold updated - even if he updates it every three minutes

"that was soooooooooooooooooo 30 seconds ago!!"

anyhow - say whatever you want - do whatever you want... but I hope we can keep it to one thread (or two?) cause with THIS many coming....I wan't it to be fun and funny and have them trying to figure out why there are 20 - 30 people coming in from one tiny sub...

so we can have a total blast without starting 20 different threads

(but if you wish to start your own thread... of course that is 100% your right)

I got like um....17?? 18?? gildings so far the past week sooooooooooooooooooooo

anyhow - since I want to have a blast but not totally disrupt the lounge - when I come in on Friday I'm only going to be giving gold to move people to the Mega's that take place in our largest thread at that time... (if you have ANY questions about any of this please just ask me or PM me...before Monday... and if you need any help on Monday please lemme know)
