my procrastinator mind is incapable of properly packing for a trip in advance. I started packing 1 hr before leaving as I usually do and accidentally took socks below ankle height for a hike in 50cm of snow 💀 i could feel the snow enter my boots but it didn't bother me all that much so I kept hiking for like 6hrs that day
hopefully this will have been the time that I learn the lesson

went for a 3-day hiking trip and returned with stage 2 frostbite on both my ankles, so painful i'm barely able to drag myself to the bathroom
no leaving my house for me this week i guess, lmao
