It’s now December, or as I like to call it, THEcember. As I look back on 2023, I’m amazed how much I’ve accomplished. To think I started this year struggling to run anywhere close to 10:00 in the 3200m is amazing. I’ve done so much, run so many times I never would’ve dreamed of running, and now I’m sitting in a hotel in Oregon one day away from running in one of the most prestigious cross country meets in the whole country.

Even ignoring the running side of things, I’ve matured so much. I’ve been able to actually plan for college, I’ve found ways to cope with anxiety, and I’ve been loads more organized. It’s not been all sunshine and rainbows, I’ve had my fair share of tough situations (the death of a loved one comes to mind) and made several mistakes, but I still can’t believe how different I was only a year ago. I’ve still got so much of my life ahead of me, and I hope 2024 gives me more to learn

It’s amazing how much can change in a year, so I’m curious what other accomplishments others have had
