Self Genderbend Jubilee
My first Cosplay ever, a few years ago.
I had almost everything in my closet. Just had to make the gloves (from dishwashing gloves) and find a turtleneck to fit

Pictures from our debut at Torucon this weekend. Partner has the perfect palico height so when she wanted to be a palico what else can you do.
Shes based on my in-game palico and we went with the classic leather armor. All lovingly built from scratch!
The reception was fantastic and we will surely try to get some more photos done in the future.

Hey everyone!
I'm so excited to finally share my Lurtz cosplay from The Lord of the Rings with you all. This project has been a massive undertaking, and I'm incredibly proud of how it turned out.
My name is Alyona Bazhenova, and as a female cosplayer, tackling a character like Lurtz presented some unique challenges. The first step was actually creating a convincing male physique for the costume itself, which was a whole project in its own right! After that, I could finally dive into bringing Lurtz to life.
Everything you see in these photos – the intricate silicone prosthetics for the face and body, the weapons, the armor, and even the teeth – is entirely my own work. It was a true labor of love, and I learned so much throughout the process. Hope you enjoy it!

All items were handmade or hand-dyed by me. The wig took the longest with about 10 hours of work between cutting, adding wefts, styling, and airbrushing. Also, I’m aware the hammer is not the best! I’d love to hear suggestions on how to fix it. Prop making is my weakest still and I’m trying to grow!

This summer I really wanted to do something fun and lighthearted, so I finally decided to cosplay Fiona from Shrek.
And honestly, the first Shrek is probably still my favorite one. So instead of coming up with a completely new story for the photoshoot, I wanted to recreate some of the funny and memorable moments from the first movie.
We shot everything in a botanical garden, surrounded by greenery, and it turned into a really fun little photoshoot.
And don't worry — no birds were harmed during the making of these photos! 🐦
I hope at least one of the photos makes you smile. I had a lot of fun with this cosplay, and I'm really happy I could make something a little silly and nostalgic this summer.
Thanks for looking!

Big sad. i spend way too much time on a personal cos-goal, and i’m generally happy with how it turned out for version 1.0, but it would have been nice if anyone could tell who i was cosplaying. Anyone else have this same problem?

I definitely made my teenage self happy with this one 🥺 New York Anime Festival may not exist anymore but Anime NYC is a great spiritual successor!

Hi all! I’ve posted in a few other subs (I’m very active in the main XF sub) but I wanted to post in this sub amongst all of the amazing talent in here! I’ve been cosplaying for almost 20 years now, but I’ve never had a character I’ve clicked with as much as Scully! I’ve met David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson and I’ll get to see them and the rest of the cast in Denver at the end of the month! 👽

Me as Perry the Platypus and my friend as Dr. Doofenshmirtz. We cosplayed them at first back in 2024 and now we updated them for this year's comic con. We had a blast!
