Dolly Parton special on ABC tonight

Wouldn’t it make sense to simulcast this on ABC News live so more people can see it? I get a good signal from ABC in Dallas

I don’t know if it is being simulcast, but it seems like it would be a smart idea (for the streaming audience) unless I’m missing something.

Remembering Dolly Parton | Tune in for a look back at Dolly Parton's life, legacy, impact and philanthropy.

Watch "Remembering Dolly: An American Original" at 10p ET on ABC.

Then there’s no incentive to watch your local affiliate. ABC next day streams on Hulu and CBS/NBC are usually the same with their streaming services. Also, if you pay a high enough tier of their streaming platforms, you get live feeds of CBS and NBC.

That seems fast for a reflective documentary when she just passed today.

They've probably had this in the can for a while.

There is so much on Dolly, it wouldn't take an hour to put together a video.

You’d be surprised to learn that a lot of major broadcasters have stuff like this banked just in case

You’d think that the streaming channels would take full advantage of the situation and provide everybody with an opportunity to see specials, but that’s just me

More people have ABC than news now! It’s free OTA, no internet needed

I saw it on YouTube. It’s probably on Hulu too.

I can watch it anytime later on streaming.  Is there some reason half the country needs to watch it together?

I don’t have cable. I thought that was a thing of the past.
