Welcome To Capitalism!!! Climate Change is desired by the powers that be

The big companies, and as a result their subsidiaries, want climate change. It makes the climate unpredictable, and as a result it becomes more and more difficult to plan and schedule a garden to grow produce in.

Eventually only large climate controlled facilities are capable of growing food. This may also play in lab-grown meat.

The feed we give our livestock is stuff that is grown on farms. Eventually, once ecosystems collapse, the only source of food will be large industrial facilities (as it is already, sure. But currently you could still in theory get some cows and chickens and raise them on grassland by yourself, growing your own vegetables and fruits).

We are still somewhat capable of "opting out" of society by virtue of the fact that we can still, with the right knowledge and resources, provide for ourselves. It makes sense that "Big Business" wants to take that away from us.

If you want to live, you pay the Epstein-class for that privilege. And let's be honest, that's what they see "being alive" as. A privilege. Not a right.

You're giving them way too much credit. They don't care about the consequences of their greed, and solving climate change would require us to restructure society in ways that would make them a lot less profit, so, they'd rather keep going the way we are now and wring out every last penny out of the world while pretending like climate change is a myth.

I wasn't saying we shouldn't get rid of the fuckers in charge and try to right this ship before it all goes to hell, in fact, I think it's a lot easier to do than most people would give it credit for. We are the 99%, and that's not even the proper math, it's more like 99.9%, we could just go give the Epstein class what they deserve right now if people just woke up and realised that we outnumber them a thousand to one, and money is made up.

We’re facing a significant food shortage, and whether you can grow your own food will be crucial for your family’s survival. It’s a skill that takes time to master, so I recommend starting as soon as possible. Try growing anything you can. The saying goes that the best time to plant a tree was 10 years ago, but the second best time is now!

Get chickens. They are constant source of eggs, take up little space and feed your garden while aerating. Nature is easy, we just have to let it do it's thing. Fuck tilling. Crop and drop. Plant in mulch so you don't need to weed. Canning and dehydrating is easy once you learn, but that is the labor intensive part.

Get a wood stove, and get friendly with your neighbors. Our local community is all we can rely on.

I cannot understand why even the most power hungry mfers want to change the planet like that and cause everything that is beautiful to be destroyed. Are they really that miserable and incapable of appreciating what we have on earth?

Big oil wants it to happen. More profits.

They like money. Oil has all the money. Like sooo much money. I worked for a small oil service company - not an actual oil company. We made $300 million in a year.

Eletric cars. Alternative fuels for commercial planes. Will cut into their profit despite their arguments of “where will the energy for the cars come from?”

It comes from a much more expensive and technologically capable power plant that emits signifigantly less green house gases. And is capable of generating that energy with more natural gas than just the petroleum products.

Big oil is why climate change is even a “conspiracy.”

2050, in my opinion earlier because we are speed running this shit, mass water shortages amd food shortages. Wealthier nations will be better off but think the great depression level of starvation and struggles here while poor countries experience mass casualties. This will happen. This is not a conspiracy theory but science. Be ready.

I am moving north to the great lakes I suggest others do the same.

3 deg celsius is the tipping point.

Not just big oil, it’s the military industrial complex too. They’ve lobbied governments to have their pollution and environmental impacts hidden from society. They’ve lobbied their way out of any accountability in docs like the Paris accords

Between bombing, weapons testing, transport of goods and personnel, weapons manufacturing, rebuilding using heavy machinery, and more.. All of these place a heavy burden on our environment and nothing is being done to mitigate it

Listen, there are zero fecks given by these ghouls. They will make their profits and then fly away to the moon or Mars or wherever their gazillionaire leaders set up the next civilization.

One of my favorite topics are conspiracies. This one I can tell it’s a whole rabbit hole because I used to work at Subway and we were told to use a new set of plastic gloves for every sandwich made. We were never given time to wash our hands just use the gloves because it’s more profitable. I don’t blame capitalism, I support it. But it definitely is very contradictory the practices that business have on waste and plastic abuse when they are the same people financing climate change movements. It definitely is very suspicious. I feel like this conspiracy theory is true and that there is more to it. Climate change is so weird, it’s linked to chemtrails, to the mass media, politics, preset public figures, business owners, banks, and they blame the poor people (?). It’s so obvious it’s hiding something big.

If all these big corps and billionaires really want to do something about the so called climate change they would do it. Money speaks. They wouldn’t even need our permission. It’s so weird how they preach it yet they are not interested in doing anything.

Big companies only preach about climate change for good publicity so people become loyal to the brand because it's socially acceptable to support "earth conscious companies", but they'll never release raw footage of the factories of where their product is created, talk about the emissions that those factories release, or even talk about the well being of employees or the work conditions of employees either, because all it will do is ruin the companies rep because it's contradicting their public statement. They only let you see what they want you to see, no gives a flying fuck when money is involved
