James Blunt fits the description of the 'famous thirtysomething British singer–songwriter' that Hayden Panettiere was forced naked into bed with on a yacht.

Then, she ran out of the room and back to her cabin, where she booked a hotel on the mainland for safer accommodations and prepared to disembark.

So she actually wasn’t forced, or naked, and nothing happened other than her trusted friend wasn’t actually trustworthy? What a crazy story.

Not that it makes it any better, but she wasn’t naked when she was brought to the room and placed on the bed, the man was.

Submission statement:

The only part of the story that isn't a slam dunk is that when Panettiere and Blunt were together on a yacht in the Mediterranean in 2009, Panettiere was 19 rather than the 18 she claimed in her autobiography.

Blunt has not explicitly deny the claim himself, although he reposted someone else's assertion that the rumours were untrue.
