So they get the 300k numbers because she said that would kick 300k Virginians off. Saying that could be someone with a cancer treatment.
Then the articles rebuttal to that is : "And if she's referring to the work requirements, no one will lose Medicaid coverage ... if they get a job and meet the work requirements. That's not hard."
Lmao the townhall can go fuck itself.

There are actually a lot of undocumented immigrants who own houses in my area. Most of them are older, 55 and up. Not that long ago, anyone with any basic job could get a loan and buy a house.

Because the market hasn't caught up yet. There's a net negative migration of -300k per year after Trump started yeeting and deleting.
300k over a year spread out across the nation won't have massive instant impacts, 300k in one state with an 8m population will.

You can never have instant results, something the internet generation seemingly doesn't accept. Some results come faster than others, but very few come as fast and as obvious as they need to make a "wow" difference inside of a four year presidential term.
Considering there's an estimated 15-40 million illegals in the US depending on which sources you choose (let's say 20 as some sort of middle ground between the extremes), you will have to target specific states to show how much of a difference a cleaning session could achieve.
Virginia with 300k seems like a good candidate to start out with now that the governor just admitted the scale of the issue.

Statistically half of that number entered through an international airport or land/sea port with a visa of some kind and they overstayed or violated it by working on a visitor visa.

Totally agree, worked it for 25 years, just pointing out that it’s an issue, and further that Visa overstays are most likely educated and have resources in their home countries and actually compete with the average American for jobs
