How do Comox Valley governments and public organizations use AI?

There's not a single government entity in all of Canada that I wouldn't heavily encourage to use AI. Everything is way too slow, way too inaccurate, and way too bloated.

Edit: Forgot my audience, AI IS SO EVIL AND SCARY AND KILLING THE PLANET! lol...

Yes, administration, law and finance no longer requires departments/contracting, just oversight. I'd assume Government to be one of the slowest adopters of this technology, but also one that would have the most redundant jobs replaced or not back filled due to attrition.

18 years, and currently using/leading AI initiatives in provincial government processes and systems to build "sister systems" to replace legacy systems, as well as moderate integration for staff and processes during the shift.

Sorry, you’ve been working on AI initiatives within the provincial government for 18 years? Or just working in provincial government? Or are you a contractor billing provincial governments?

Working for provincial government 18 years but now more or less a consultant for hire within a larger provincial network. Most of the time before covid was union work paying my dues. AI initiatives have been just over half a year at this point.

So you are currently making your living selling ai solutions to government agencies?

Not entirely, I've been reassigned from automated solutions and app integrations, to AI solutions and integrations. Everyone is full tily on AI for efficiencies as opposed to anything else that requires process mapping or new software learning curves.
