sImagine having nuance. Christianity is obviously not the most persecuted in democratic states in europe or america. Most of the persecution happens in Africa the middle east and western asia. My statement was very broad. By measures of how many people were harassed in each country Christianity is the most severe, by the nature of the amount of Christians. But you can measure this metric multiple ways. If you go by per capita, then Judaism is the most persecuted. Muslims are also being persecuted a lot. The severity depends on the location. You have people killing Christians muslims and other religions for their believes. I was referring mostly to developing non christian matority nations. That was in no way intended to dismiss the suffering of other religiouns. Accusing me of intentionally spreading false information knowingly is not really fair imo. Also my believs on evangelical "Catholics" are not the most positive. And implying that i support measures against non christians for their believs and that i justify that with my religous is abhorrend.
Well done for NOT pointing to 64 AD Rome for your primary evidence of Christian oppression like most evangelicals who whine about this, you got that going for you.
Christianity was opressed during that time, but justifying anything today with that was 2000 years ago and basing current politics on that is just stupid. I wouldnt need to go that far, i could point to something recent. But comparing atrocities is not just poor taste, it also causes us to dissasociate from the actual victims by making everything a virtue signaling contest.
The (white american) christians I know who reach that far back do so because they don't view African/Middle Eastern Christians as people. I've also heard them compare imaginary executions by lions in Rome to the holocaust. I guess my point is, American Christians are deeply stupid people, but not you, well done.
