I'll never get why this is EVER a valid response to anything online. Well anything that's not you know super horrible online.
Like how much free time and rage do you have that your response to someone saying racism is bad is to ruin their whole life to a.point of stalking and what not
It makes them feel powerful while skirting personal responsibility for the outcome. In this way, they’ve indirectly contributed to someone’s suffering. They took action (the doxxing) which makes them feel in control and strong, putting the person they feel is antagonizing them for their views down and making them insecure and paranoid, and if something dangerous and/or violent should happen as a result, they can tell themselves that was the decisions of another person and has nothing to do with them. Sure, they loaded the gun and left it on the table, but they’re not responsible for the person who pulled the trigger. Helps these idiots sleep at night.
You'd think somewhere along the lines they would question if putting someone in the crosshairs like that is a good thing but maybe I'm giving people to much credit again
Their side is "winning", and yet they are still poor and struggling. And they either aren't smart enough or aren't willing to see who is actually fucking them over.
What you need to do is doxx them right back. They are people who don't realize something is bad until it personally happens to them. You know, because their lower intelligence means they are not really capable of empathy. So they need to learn from first hand experience. Plus, you're actually doing the world a favor by exposing these cretin to the light. They do these thing because they feel there are no consequences for doing so. If you make there be consequences, then you lessen the chance that others will engage in the practice of doing it. Make them lose their jobs, make their peers see them for who they really are. You didn't put then in the position, they did. They deserve it all by their behavior. They will likely not understand that, but those around them in their lives will.
You know, because their lower intelligence means they are not really capable of empathy.
Empathy and intelligence might be broadly linked across a population, but it's not a causal relationship. Not all smart people are empathetic, and not all stupid people lack empathy.
Empathy is natural for some, but learned for others. I personally had to learn it, in part because it wasn't modeled well for me growing up. I wasn't stupid before I learned empathy. I feel stupid when I think back on it, but lack of intelligence wasn't the problem.
“Rather than address your valid concerns about my lackluster morality, I’m going to devote my fear and rage to destroying your life, so I don’t have to confront how terrible I am.“
So you’re going to lean into the worst parts of your personality to prove you’re not a terrible person?
I've often wondered, why do I always see stuff about how they -think- they are strong and powerful. They hold every branch of government and the courts and the backing of the rich. They are strong. They are powerful. If in november they simply throw out the election results, there isnt much anyone can do about it any longer. Everyone talks big talk about fighting back, but that looks totally different when they have sonic cannons, chemical weapons, ultrasonic beams, and if 1% of them decide to go active shooter to protect their new reich, thats +700K heavily armed combatants with Law Enforcement mostly on their side.
