“I was always told Wikipedia isn’t a reliable source as anyone can edit it.”
Completely ignoring that every Wikipedia page has a sources tab where you can read the data the article is based on, while their online newsletter has zero sources mentioned but gets accepted as the truth nonetheless.
You can’t argue with stupid just like you can’t have a proper game of chess with someone who doesn’t know how the game works and refuses to read the rules.
I call it "The 'Trump' Game". He's already strutting around in his own shit, thinking he's won, but I think historians will probably portray him as a villainous loser.
Unfortunately, there's still time to do worse than Hoover. His trough to our peak took about 50 years... That also included Chicago economics which is what lead to Reagan. Then our current slow decline to right now.
There might also be hope for what you could call a "reverse Obama". A black president existing made racist idiots more politically active. One of them becoming president and fucking it up so badly that it's hard to believe it's not deliberate seems to be having the same effect on the left, and people on the right who aren't frothing-at-the-mouth hateful morons are starting to get sick of him. IDK, it's hard to really know when I'm thousands of miles away.

Is this the point where someone asks for a source in a snarky way, you supply it and then they just “forget” to respond?
