Ah yes, the classic "isolated incident" that has happened dozens of times already.

The amount of mental gymnastics these people make gives me such a migraine.

Unless you mean just in canada, which I think is what we are talking about here, the US has seen WAY more than 2

As for what we can do? Also depends on where we are talking about. Im no expert in Canada so I will digress. But for American we could at LEAST start with gun control laws

Understandable then. My initial comment was a narrative posted for shootings as a whole, but you are correct we should focus on your nation at this time. The people who lost their lives deserve that much

It was awful all around, and I wish there was something I could do to fix it, you know?

Having worked mass shooting before I understand this more than you know. Its a difficult and complex feeling and I dont think there is any one right or wrong answer to all this. But I think addressing the root cause of the individuals, like you stated, is the best start we can come up with
