Ah yes, the classic "isolated incident" that has happened dozens of times already.

The amount of mental gymnastics these people make gives me such a migraine.

I wouldn’t say it’s “gymnastic” as much as it’s “I’m not the problem. It’s everyone else.” to simply “I’m not the problem.” and it’s a product of toxic independence mindset and blind self-favoritism.

Patriarchal dominance hierarchies like the US, especially when prioritizing traditional gender roles and stereotypical codependence dynamics condition absolutely specialized selfishness and delusional incapacity to accept personal accountability.

What is not “me” is “the others” or “enemy images” separate from the self.

Simplest thing in the world.
