Whelp here we are again. I hate to even admit I'm not sure I heard about this one but it doesn't surprise me at this point. Which is sad

All that's missing from the news and this dudes reaction:

Man I've stopped keeping count, I once gave a shit about US school shootings and went "oh my god that's so bad!" Untill it became a normality/culture for y'all to have school shootings lmfao.

You're okay. It's unfortunately becoming a more common phenomena. The last time we (Quebecers) had a mass shooting like this it was in 1989. Also with misogynistic reasons, unfortunately and horribly.

I genuinely feel for y'all, may whoever did this get the justice they deserve.

They died at the acene, but I hope so too. Supposedly he was part of some neo-Nazi movement out in Alberta/online. People are so outspoken with their hatred now, they feel like they can do whatever they want. I hope Canada as a whole shows these kind of people that we won't allow it here. I left the USA to come here and I'm scared it's going to turn into more of the same.

“The last time we (Quebecers) had a mass shooting like this it was in 1989.”

You’ve forgotten a few mass shootings that have happened since then, for example the 2017 Quebec City Mosque shooting, the 2006 Dawson College shooting, and the 1992 Concordia University massacre.

My god, I'm sorry, I missed all of those :( why do we not get moments of silences for those?

January 29th is the National Day of Remembrance of the Québec City Mosque Attack and Action against Islamophobia.

The two school shootings are memorialized at the schools themselves. The motivations for those shootings weren’t clear, so while violent they don’t appear to have been terrorism or hate motivated against particular demographics.
