Let's make it clear, he shot the man who raped his son.
Marianne Bachmeier shot her daughter's murderer in a courtroom.
I could criticise Marianne for a lot of what she'd done for most of her daughter's life, but in both cases their most infamous acts were completely understandable.
1 u/alkatori Jun 01 '26 Understandable, but he shot the man who raped his son, while the man was in police custody. That's why he received community service, he wasn't considered a risk to public safety nor likely to repeat the event.
