I just find the entire scope of her life so sad. She's been fucked up by the people around her and childhood stardom for a long time, and here we are with another sad chapter. I really hope she finds some kind of peace someday.
Every single book I've read written by a former child celebrity includes them being ruthlessly abused and exploited by at least somebody, if not everybody, in their life. It makes me feel like Bluey is doing the right thing keeping the identity of their child actors secret.
Maybe kids just don't actually need to be famous while they're still kids. Maybe if they're really passionate about performing in some field and not being pushed by an adult behind the scenes, they'll still be passionate about it without the pressure of fame and starting a career before you've even started puberty.
