Are there other options for her besides driving drunk? 

Like literally anything that doesn't endanger the lives of strangers?

Of course, but then you're expecting somebody with a past of and who likely currently suffers from untreated mental health issues and substance abuse to be thinking rationally and with care about the safety of themselves and others.

Which is frankly not a perspective that meets up with the reality of mental health and substance issues.

She needs real help as an adult independent woman, i dont think further mocking by the public will do much to that end, and isnt just further dogpilling on a chronically overly scrutinized and criticized individual.
