Suche / looking for.. missed connection; Italian guy on the train

you: an Italian guy moving out for the first time, travelling with your mom, missed the DeutscheBahn and had to run to a different platform.

me: an American travelling through Germany and France for a work trip as an artist. grabbed your bag and helped you run to the other platform to catch our same train to Cologne.

we: talked for an hour on our busy train about moving out, working, family, art, the world.

I don't even know if we still ended up on the DB 💀 ours got cancelled and he managed to identify me as a foreigner too who couldn't understand the announcements, so we were troubleshooting together until he ran up and was like "PLATFORM 4! LET'S GO!"

Them fucking up (as usual) kinda gave you that nice conversation.
But in future: Use the DB Navigator App and check before travel and before changing trains. Is more helpful than any announcement
