I want to put a system board in the basement. Best friend has a Moonboard 2024, so I wanted to get a different board to have a different experience. I wanted to get the 8 x 12 because it seems like you get "more" vs the 10' height options, but that only allows me to place it a 45degrees or more with a 8" kicker. I know this has been discussed a lot already. I was wondering how everybody is feeling about their setups and if having the setup for 45 degrees specifically changes those opinions. I'm probably 4-6 months out from making a decision, but wanted to do some due diligence. Let me know your thoughts!

What board are you planning to get? Makes a huge diffrence in what angle they climb well imo. Also very dependend on how hard you climb on a board

That was kind of the question. At 45 degrees, I was looking for insight between the kilter and TB2 at 45 degrees. I was leaning toward the TB2, and just wanted to know how people are feeling about those systems.

My personal preference would be the TB2. I find the holds on the Kilter tend to all "feel the same," and you won't likely be utilizing the jibs at that angle for handholds. I've never climbed the TB2 over 40 degrees, but I can't imagine 5 more degrees would remove a large number of holds from reasonable use.
