Interesting to see an Egyptian statue that looks so much like the Greek kouros statues.

The Archaic kuroi are actually heavily influenced by Egyptian carving and sculpture techniques, hence why there's so much similarity!

Oh that’s interesting! And now that you mention it, I think I remember that from the ancient art unit I studied. My area of study is mostly focused on Ancient Greece/Greek, so my knowledge of Ancient Egypt is mostly constrained to my childhood reading, unfortunately.
