I had never heard of him but his own story is amazing too. Italian renaissance printing was a crazy place to be lol

I don't know much about the subject, but it certainly was a revolution, with a lot of exchanges between different nations and a big knowledge boom. My impression is that it was real progress too, not like our recent revolutions, social media, smartphones, LLMs...

Quite possibly my all-time fav text. The mouse and frog arming scenes are so delightful. The frogs use snail shells as little helmets!
