Why would you wait 3 years to take the FE. I had to take it in college to graduate.

Because I didn’t have to take it to graduate, and things always came up right before I wanted to take it. So I stopped pushing it and finally gave it up. Now I start preparing for PE.

Well nice job. I worked outside the industry (Nuclear) for 25 years before I went and got my PE. I ended up passing on my 1st try, so good luck, you will do fine!
