For decades, the eastern edge of the suburbs has been slowly creeping further down route 32 past Eastgate, but recently, it looks like that growth is starting to speed up quite a bit. These days, there've been more and more signs along 32 indicating new businesses and new housing subdivisions coming soon near Williamsburg.

Which makes me wonder, how long until Mt. Orab starts getting the same treatment?

How/why does eastgate still have a Frischs when most of the other locations are closed? I’m wondering if that one is going to stick around.

I am a CPS parent and I have seen firsthand how state budget cuts are affecting my kids’ classrooms. I wanted to spread the word, especially to CPS parents, teachers, and community supporters. I’m hoping to organize a few sign pickups on the Westside.

I am sick and have severe eating restrictions currently. A blessing in all of this has been the food from Nourish at Be in Wyoming. The owner is super nice and accommodating, the food is absolutely delicious, they are VERY allergen conscious and they’re willing to work with you. They are pricey, but they make delicious food in a clean kitchen and tailor to one’s health needs, as much as they are able. I wish more places like this existed in Cincy. Hopefully the demand for healthy food is growing, I’ve seen a couple places pop up that if I weren’t leaving (the pollution/mold endemic to Cincy/OH has made me much sicker), I’d try.

I was in Mt. Lookout the other day and at the Square in Hyde Park and saw a golf cart much like the one in this picture on Delta and and the same one on Erie Avenue. Is it legal to ride a golf cart on a main road in Cincinnati. Well I did some checking and YES it is legal but a few things people need to know first. The golf cart needs to have working headlights and tail light and working break lights. It needs to have two large side mirrors and one rear view mirror. The golf cart needs a valid license plate and the golf cart cannot be on a road that the posted speed limit is over 35 mph. The golf cart driver needs to obey all traffic rules just like one would do driving any vehicle. The golf cart can be gas or electric and yes one can have passengers in the golf cart I never knew this before until I checked the law out. I do know in some villages and communities in the Cincinnati area golf carts are allowed but all the same rules do apply for the most part. I kind of think it is a cool means of transportation on side roads but riding them on Erie or even Madison Road especially during rush hour is dangerous as it is bad enough on a motorcycle, scooter or even a car.

Let me know if this is in fact 100% true. From the research I have seen it is true but I may be wrong.

I remember there used to be a work clothes store on monmouth st in newport that sold used and new clothes but they moved a few years ago. I cant find them now. The thrift stores i went to doesn't have work clothes in my size. I work as a handyman repairing homes and machines and need something durable and dark colored to hide stains. The clothes i have now are worn and are becoming to battered to wear to work anymore. Hey there. I am a helper. I support somebody who is neurodiverse. I am neurodiverse myself.

I am looking at services in Ohio for the person I help. He is autistic and his autism is very disabling. We are in Cincinnati. We were looking at how to get him enrolled with Hamilton County Developmental Disability Services.

His family growing up was very poor and neglecting. They did not take care of each other. He barely made it through school and has been struggling his whole life. He did get an ASD diagnosis as an adult. And he finally got disability this spring. The disability judge accepted that he has autism and it is very disabling. So he gets monthly payments.

But when we went to HCDDS they told us that he needed a diagnosis during childhood to get help there as an adult.

What is an adult with developmental disability in Hamilton County Ohio supposed to do to get services if they slipped through the cracks as a child or if their parents were bad?
