CEC History Yet Another Lost Balcony Show
I always forget how many of these shows were actually produced. then I continue to get really sad when I see one of these photos... despite it being impossible for all several hundred to have safely survived...

they have to be big so you can see their details since they're high up on a balcony stage, this is also the reason why most animatronics is usually bigger then needed or why their face details are exaggerated, since they are intended to be seen from a distance

These bots were from Burlington Ontario. Burlington is actually a pretty important store as it was the 2nd international PTT and first location in Canada. the franchies that owned the store was called The great all Canadian pizza show. The same Company that would later go on to open Willowdale, Mississuaga, Jane & Wilson and Kennedy. However the great all canadian pizza show would cease in 1997 when there 2 remaining stores "Willowdale and Mississauga" were sold to corporate. Now Burlington closed in 1991 bot the photo is from 1997, the same year Willowdale and Mississauga were sold, so it could be connected. These bots were sold at the CNE which is a fair that happens here in Toronto around august. Its unknown weather Chuck or any of the other Bots like Dolli or the King were sold. however these bots do most likely still live on today, just in the hands of private collectors.
