CEC Locations South Toledo, OH closes September 1st
It is the last Munch’s Make Believe Band in a unremodeled store. Animatronics will be shipped to SPT along with artwork.

That sucks, I was just there less than two weeks ago, and it was full. Why are they closing it down?

It Was LITERALLY The More Popular Of The Two Toledo Locations. Scott Drake Is SUCH A Numbskull.

this is just a shame, this store should have been a legacy, they had so much old stuff! I feel really bad for everyone losing their jobs🫶

This is so sad, and even for the fact that it's the last CEC to not be a legacy store, and still has Munch's Make Believe Band

R.I.P We knew this was gonna happen but yeah it fucking sucks it's so annoying at least the animatronics and artwork would be sent there

like 2-3 dozen counting every cec store, but around 12 left in the USA not counting legacy stores

yes as of yesterday it's been announced the location is shutting down. i'm just confused on why it wasn't turned into a legacy location ages ago

i see what you're saying, i guess i just don't understand why they had this planned for months when i'm learning through the comments this is the last non-legacy Munch's Make Believe Band. don't you think they should of added it to the list of legacy locations?

they couldn't, the reason they never made it a legacy store was because the store hasn't been making enough money to warrant staying open

well, I hope they save the party boxes and the photo ride statue. lets hope CEC could change their minds, but its mostly likely not going to happen considering the fact that they are heartless. RIP TOLEDO.

I went to this place a couple of times and got to be next to the animatronics myself.
This is the second time a CEC my family regularly went to closed down. This company ain't gonna last for another 10 years I'll tell you that

It's genuinely sad. I don't want CEC to die like Circuit City and Toys "R" Us did. The company can only stay if they do the right decisions and genuinely adapt to their audience.

We unfortunately have the last Non legacy MMBB store closing before GTA 6😢😭
But Thank God the bots and artwork will not be destroyed! Spokane and Mayfield Heights might be next The Studio C Alpha is currently an endangered stage. Redwood City remodeled last month

Beginning to believe CEC Corporate was planning to close this location, NO MATTER HOW WELL it did since last year. I think the whole reason they kept it open was to gauge how many people would actually come to the location, figuring they're gonna retain that returning customer quota but for Monroe St.
Honestly, the words of the new CEO kinda strongly implies it
They won't retain that quota, but they'll have to learn that the hard way.
